45. The Jewish Cemetery

It was established in the 19th century. There are around 200 graves which survived to this very day and a pre-burial house from the end of the 19th century. In 1968 there was a monument raised to commemorate all those who perished in the Holocaust.

46. The Baptist Church

The church was built in 1895 in neo-Romanesque style (the congregation itself was founded by Friedrich Schweiger in 1871). Next to it there is the vicarage from the same time. The congregation is active to this very day.

 

 

47. The Zyskind Villa

It is almost an only wooden example of architecture in Żyrardów. It was designed by M. Rudakowski.
